The table does not know it is your last $10
Every hand and every spin is independent. A blackjack shoe or a roulette wheel has no record of your earlier losses, your breakup or your budget, and the house edge applies to the last stake exactly as it applied to the first: with basic strategy, blackjack costs roughly 0.5–1% of each main bet, and European roulette keeps 2.70% of every standard bet. A side bet is a separate wager with its own, usually higher, edge; its top prize is a long shot on every deal, not a reward for desperation. The grandmother's craps streak is the same idea seen from the other side: dice have no memory, so a lucky object cannot make a 7 more likely, and a streak remembered years later says nothing about the next roll. Four losses in a row, enough to break this budget, happen with probability (19/37)^4, about 7%, roughly once in 14 sequences: rare in one evening, practically certain over a year of evenings. What a loss bonus really returns
